The June-Bug-Run is an annual event in the Guelph area. Starkey Hills North is a very popular venue for orienteering. Participants from previous events will remember the topgraphically complex but open coniferous areas, the adjacent open hardwood forests and the canyon separating other complex areas.

This year we'll be using a Score or Matrix format. All controls will be marked on the map and will have a point value proportional to difficulty. Participants will have 60 minutes to visit as many controls as they can. For those finishing after 60 minutes, there will be a penalty of 5 points per minute applied to their score.

The SPORTident system will be used for this event. For those who have not purchased one, SPORTident e-cards will be available for sale or rent.

Directions:
From Toronto, exit Hwy 401 at Guelph Line north (exit 312). Continue north to 10th Side Rd and turn west (left), continue 2 concessions and turn right (north) at Wellington Rd 29 (or Milton 1st Line), continue north to Arkell Road (or Milton 30th Side Rd) and turn west (left), continue 1.2km to Milton-Puslinch Townline and turn south (left).

From Hamilton, go north on Hwy 6 past Hwy 401, through Aberfoyle, to Brock Rd (Not Hwy 6 North). Continue north as Brock Rd runs into Gordon Ave then turn east (right) at Maltby Rd, 4.7km from the 401. Continue east 6km to the Milton/Puslinch Townline, then turn north (left) and continue for 3.2km.

From Guelph, go south on Watson Rd, turn east (left) on Arkell Rd. Follow Arkell Rd to the Milton/Puslinch Townline.

Please park on the west side of the road, carefully cross Arkell Rd and follow the right-of-way to the top of the hill.
